This walkthrough takes you from a new account to a generated image saved in a workspace. It should take about five minutes.

Before you begin

You need a WJI account and enough credits to run one generation. New accounts start with a credit balance — see How credits work if you want to understand the charges before you spend anything.
1

Go to app.wji.ai and sign in with your email and password, or with Google. If you do not have an account yet, follow Accounts and sign-in first.
2

Create a workspace

Open Workspace in the top navigation and click Create workspace.Give it a name. The important choice on this screen is Primary image generation mode, which decides where the workspace opens:
  • Open creative image generation — starts you in Idea Studio, working from written ideas.
  • Open infinite canvas — starts you on the canvas, working visually.
Pick Open creative image generation for this walkthrough, then click Create Blank Workspace.

Add an idea

The workspace opens in Idea Studio with a set of folders already created for you: story, character, location, prop, shot, and other.Select the character folder, then click New idea in the left toolbar. Give the character a name and a one-line summary, and save it.
The summary is required. It is what the AI reads when this idea is used as a reference later, so write something descriptive rather than a placeholder.
4

Generate an image

Switch to Idea Image Generation using the app icons in the left rail.Type a prompt describing the shot you want. Leave the model and settings at their defaults for now, and click the generate button. The button shows an estimated credit cost before you commit.

Keep the result

When the image finishes, it appears in the history below the form. Hover it and use the action menu to Save to Idea so it is attached to the character you created. From here you can reuse it as a reference image, set it as the idea’s cover, or drag it onto a canvas.
